Application
-

Swimming Pools & Spas (Outdoor): The primary application is to stabilize free chlorine in outdoor recreational water, preventing UV loss which can be as high as 90% in just a few hours.
-

Chlorinated Isocyanurates Production: It is the key raw material for manufacturing Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) and Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (SDIC).
-

Intermediate in Chemical Synthesis: Used in the production of herbicides, plastics, and flame retardants.
-

Swimming Pools & Spas: The primary choice for continuous disinfection, algae prevention, and water clarification.
Regular packing
Powder/Granules: 25 kg or 50 kg plastic woven bags, with a sealed inner plastic liner to prevent moisture absorption.

Customized Package
1.Retail Sizes: 1 lb, 2 lb, 4 lb, or 5 kg plastic bottles or buckets for the consumer market.
2.Bulk Sizes: 1000 kg jumbo bags (FIBCs) for large-volume users.
3.Private Labeling: Custom packaging with your brand name and design.
How to use
1.Test First: Use a test strip or liquid test kit to determine the current Cyanuric Acid level in your pool. The ideal range is 30 - 50 ppm.
2.Calculate Dosage: Based on your pool volume and current CYA level, calculate the amount needed to reach the ideal range. (e.g., approximately 1.5 lbs per 10,000 gallons to raise CYA by 10 ppm).
3.Application:
Best Method: Add the pre-measured Cyanuric Acid to a clean sock or cloth bag.
Suspend the bag in front of an active return jet in the deep end of the pool.
Squeeze the bag periodically until all the powder has dissolved. This may take 24-48 hours.
Alternative Method: You can pre-dissolve it in a bucket of warm water and pour it slowly into the skimmer. (Note: This method is not recommended for cartridge filters as it can cause clogging).
4.Run the Filter: Keep the pool's circulation system running for at least 24 hours after application.
Advantages
1.Dramatically Reduces Chlorine Loss: Can lower chlorine consumption by up to 80%, protecting your investment in chlorine.
2.Maintains Consistent Sanitation: Ensures a stable chlorine level for effective and continuous disinfection.
3.Cost-Effective: Significantly reduces the frequency and amount of chlorine needed, saving money over time.
4.Easy to Apply: Simple, straightforward dosing process.
5.High Purity: Our ≥99% purity ensures maximum effectiveness with minimal impurities.
Storage Method
1.Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.
2.Keep the container tightly closed to prevent contact with moisture.
3.Avoid incompatible materials such as strong oxidizers and bases.
FAQ
-
Q1: Is Cyanuric Acid the same as chlorine?
A1: No. Cyanuric Acid itself is not a disinfectant. It is a stabilizer that protects chlorine from the sun. You must still use a chlorine source (like TCCA, SDIC, or liquid chlorine) to sanitize the water. -
Q2: Can the Cyanuric Acid level get too high?
-
Q3: Why is it so slow to dissolve?
-
Q4: Do I need to use Cyanuric Acid in an indoor pool?
-
Q5: Does Cyanuric Acid affect the pool's pH?
