Application

Swimming Pool and Spa Maintenance (Main Application)
Role: Chlorine stabilizer, commonly known as "pool stabilizer" or "sunscreen chlorine."
Function: In outdoor pools, ultraviolet rays from sunlight rapidly degrade free chlorine within hours. Adding cyanuric acid effectively protects the chlorine molecules, extending their duration of action by up to eight times, significantly reducing the frequency and amount of chlorine additions.

Chemical Synthesis Intermediate
Role: A key raw material for the production of a range of high-value chemicals.
Downstream Products:
Chloroisocyanurate disinfectants: such as trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) and sodium dichloroisocyanurate (SDIC). The cyanuric acid we produce is the core precursor of these highly effective disinfectants.

How to use
Outdoor swimming pools is the primary and most common application of cyanuric acid.
Target Concentration: It is recommended to maintain a cyanuric acid concentration of 30-50 ppm (mg/L) in pool water.
<30 ppm: Insufficient stabilization and rapid chlorine loss.
>100 ppm: "Chlorine lock" may occur, where the chlorine becomes over-stabilized and ineffective in killing bacteria.
>200 ppm: Partial water changes are necessary to dilute the concentration.
