Application
1.Water & Wastewater Treatment: Primary disinfectant for drinking water and for treating municipal and industrial wastewater.
2.Healthcare & Institutional: For surface disinfection, sanitizing medical equipment (at appropriate dilutions), and in laundry for bleaching and stain removal.
3.Food & Beverage Processing: Sanitizing processing equipment, surfaces, and fruit/vegetable washing.
4.Pulp & Textile Industry: As a bleaching agent for wood pulp, paper, and textiles.
5.Chemical Industry: As an oxidizing agent in various chemical synthesis processes.
6.Household & Commercial Cleaning: The active ingredient in many household bleaches and cleaning products.
Regular packing
- 1.IBC Totes (1000 Liters): Most efficient for large-volume industrial and municipal users.
- 2.200L / 55-Gallon Plastic Drums: Ideal for medium-scale users and distributors.
- 3.25L / 5-Gallon Plastic Jerry Cans: Suitable for smaller commercial or institutional facilities.
Customized Packing
- 1.Private label packaging for distributors.
- 2.Custom dilution strengths upon request.
- 3.Smaller bottle sizes (1L, 2L) for specific OEM or retail partnerships.
How to use
Warning: Handle with care. Always use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety goggles, and protective clothing.
- 1.Dilution is Key: Always dilute with cold water before use. The required dilution ratio depends on the application and target disinfectant concentration (ppm of available chlorine).
- 2.For Surface Disinfection: A typical dilution is 1:100 (e.g., 10 ml of 10% solution per 1 liter of water) to achieve a ~1000 ppm solution. Apply by spraying or wiping.
- 3.For Water Treatment: Dosage is precisely controlled by metering pumps based on water flow and quality to maintain a safe residual chlorine level.
- 4.Mixing Precaution: Never mix sodium hypochlorite with acids or ammonia-based cleaners. This produces toxic chlorine gas or explosive compounds.
Advantages
- 1.Rapid Action: Works immediately upon contact to kill a wide range of microorganisms.
- 2.Proven Effectiveness: A time-tested, globally recognized disinfectant with a well-understood profile.
- 3.Cost-Effective: Generally has a lower upfront cost per unit of chlorine compared to solid alternatives.
- 4.Easy to Apply & Dose: Liquid form allows for easy mixing and precise dosing with pump systems.
- 5.Leaves No Solid Residue: Unlike some solid chlorine products, it dissolves completely without leaving behind insoluble particles.
Storage Method
- 1.Store in a Cool, Dark Place: Temperature should ideally be below 20°C (68°F). Heat and sunlight dramatically accelerate decomposition.
- 2.Use Ventilated, Corrosion-Resistant Areas: Store in a well-ventilated space. Tanks and containers should be made of compatible materials like polyethylene (HDPE), fiberglass, or rubber-lined steel.
- 3.Short Shelf Life: Plan for first-in, first-out (FIFO) usage. A 12.5% solution can lose significant strength within a few weeks, especially in suboptimal conditions.
- 4.Isolate from Incompatibles: Store far away from acids, ammonia, organic chemicals, and flammable materials.
