Due to dense numbers of aquatic organisms and continuous organic waste build-up, aquaculture systems are highly vulnerable to bacterial, viral and parasitic infections. Disease outbreaks caused by contaminated water can lead to a reduction in ROIs and growth rates and an increase in mortality.

Persistent Turbidity: Addressing common water clarity issues and "cloudy water" in high-traffic commercial swimming facilities.

Solution: Utilizing a "periodic surge dosing" approach, calcium hypochlorite solution was added to the circulating water twice weekly to temporarily raise the residual chlorine level to 0.8-1.0 mg/L, with daily low-dose maintenance.

Solution: Our 70% calcium hypochlorite granules were used. The water plant purchases them monthly and stores them safely in a small warehouse. An automatic dissolving machine and metering pump accurately dose the prepared stock solution into the clear water tank.
