Municipal Water Disinfection in a Small Mountain Town

Challenge: The town's water plant is far from the city, making liquid chlorine supply and transportation difficult and posing high safety risks. Using sodium hypochlorite solution, due to its instability, significantly degrades the effective chlorine after long-distance transportation.

Solution: Our 70% calcium hypochlorite granules were used. The water plant purchases them monthly and stores them safely in a small warehouse. An automatic dissolving machine and metering pump accurately dose the prepared stock solution into the clear water tank.
